Brad: I grew up in a Christian family. My oldest brother shared with me the good news of salvation by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. I placed my trust in Him when I was five years old. I'm presently working alongside the Hungarian Evangelical Church in Budapest. Kari: I placed my trust in Jesus Christ for salvation when I heard the gospel at the age of 14 at a Young Life camp.

First couple weeks on home assignment

Hi all, we arrived safe and sound to Phoenix, AZ. We were graciously hosted by my parents and brother's family. We had a day to recoup and then we drove east. First stop was Alb.NM and stayed with a supporter we hadn't seen in 23 years. What a blessing to see her again and speak at length with her brother in Asia--he was my best man in our wedding 23 years ago. From ALB we drove to Oklahoma where we ran into Kari's folks--one exit from one another, they at a RV park and we at a Super 8. We enjoyed a Saturday night with the Free church in Tahlequah and a Sunday morning worship time. Off we went to Branson, MO where we spent a week with all Kari's relatives at a reunion. Lots of cousins running around...we had a wonderful time together, it's been a long time since we've seen many of them.
Whitney and Kelsey went with my niece and her family to Austin, we dropped the boys off in KS to spend a week roofing with the Weddle boys, Kari and I visited Cornerstone EFC this morning and now we're flight delayed out of KCI bound for MSP. Never a dull moment, we've had safe travel and blessed visits with family and friends...all too short.
Blessings and thanks for praying for us!
Brad and Kari
