Whitney home

Whitney came home from college almost a week ago. Everything was going great until Saturday morning. She was going to play on our softball team so we decided to play catch that morning. I made a bad throw, the softball ricochetted off the swingset and cracked her in the mouth. Upon closer inspection...two teeth pushed in about a half inch, bloody lip and a quarter inch cut....on the outside. Inside her lip was worse. I got ahold of an oral surgeon in his office on a Saturday and we rushed over...within an hour and a half, x-ray, shots, reset teeth, several stitches inside her lip and two outside. The teeth weren't broken, but the bone above them was. He made a plastic mouth piece to hold everything in position--then we went to the softball game that afternoon--she didn't play though. She's taking antibiotics and is in quite good spirits considering...
