Greetings from Colorful Colorado—the State in which I grew up. We spent the first half of June in Budapest and the second half on the run to visit and speak with as many supporters as possible about our lives and what God is doing in Hungary.
Tennison Family Reunion
We are blessed in many ways: we have many believers in our immediate and extended families which have supported us for the last eight years, many dear brothers and sisters in Christ, along with bodies of believers in local churches also supporting us. We’re praying for a few more folks that God would appoint to a role in His work in Hungary with us. Much of our home-assignment thus far has been to give a report of our activities to our current financial supporters. I was blessed to preach and share in Tahlequah, OK and in Harrisonville, MO in June as well as meet personally with family and friends. I’ve included a picture of a family reunion on Kari’s side in Branson, MO and a reunion with a supporter we’d not seen in 23 years. We also had occasion to attend the National Leadership Conference of the EFCA in Minneapolis the last week of June. Of course that was a highlight, for the mere surprise of meeting others in attendance that we didn’t know would be there. One day we spent in a meeting with other leaders around Europe discussing a future multiple-use-ministry concept starting with our ministry center in Budapest. It will put concrete steps to realizing the vision God gave us when He plopped us into that building seven years ago. These are exciting times!

One aspect of this day and age is that technology seemingly affords us to be in more than one place at the same time. I say seemingly, because it’s not possible physically. I know this all too well. I see the progress my teammates and church teams are making on the construction in the ministry center back in Budapest,( http://picasweb.google.com/belemmons/MoziRebuild ) and I long to be there; at the same time, I long to be involved in the exciting ministries of each church in which we minister here, then reality sets in when we pile in the car and are disconnected from both. I felt this most acutely the other day when driving the 110 miles between Gillette and Douglas, Wyoming. I hope I never get used to this torn feeling—that I will always long to be with other believers, arms locked for the sake of the gospel, in ministry together wherever the Lord has us.
Finally, a financial update: We have so far $100/month of our needed $1500/month. We have $500 of our $8000 one-time amount. Please pray with us for a full supply of our need in order to return to Hungary in August. Would you consider becoming a monthly supporter for our next two year term? We would be most grateful for your involvement with us in seeing churches multiplied in Hungary.
In Christ alone,
Brad—for the family
